Somerset Record Contacts

Use the office that created or maintains the record. The nearby county jail and state prison have different operators and different request paths.

Somerset County Detention Center
30474 Revells Neck Road
Westover, MD 21871
410-651-9223 or 410-651-9224

SCDC is the starting point for its own booking, movement, release, transfer, and projected-date records. Ask which county representative accepts Maryland Public Information Act requests.

Somerset County Sheriff
410-651-9225

The Sheriff contact appears in the county justice directory, but detention records should not be sent there automatically. SCDC is managed by the warden under the County Commissioners and maintains its own detention records.

Somerset Circuit Court Criminal Department
30512 Prince William Street
Princess Anne, MD 21853
410-845-4850
Public criminal records: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The clerk handles court documents in person or in writing. The office does not accept those record requests by telephone.

Somerset Division of Parole and Probation
11670 Somerset Avenue
Princess Anne, MD 21853
410-651-2211

The field office is the local route for a public verification process when the court or Commission record shows supervision. Detailed client information may be restricted.

Maryland DPSCS
6776 Reisterstown Road
Baltimore, MD 21215
410-585-3300 or 877-379-8636

Use the dedicated DPSCS Public Information Act channel for ECI or other state-prison release, discharge, commitment, and photograph records.

  • For a released person or release record, the home page gives the county, court, state, and transfer checks.
  • For post-release supervision, use Parole & Probation and the Princess Anne office.
  • For who left SCDC today, follow the 24-Hour Release List request workflow.
  • For a calculated date, use Projected Release Date; for alerts, use the VINELink Check.
  • For a federal sentence, use the BOP locator and federal court record. For immigration custody, use ICE ODLS and the Baltimore Field Office.
